Origins
Founded in June 1995, GSI was born as a result of the disintegration of Hyphen Latin-America, as a technical support company. A group of professionals observed the need to create a company to provide technical support to the vast number of clients that were left with expensive applications, without any backup or support.

At the end of 1995, GSI started selling Rips and Imagesetters by customers’ demand. Its portfolio of products and services has greatly increased since then, to include sophisticated systems and solutions developed by well known manufacturers in the industry.

At present, GSI is considered a leader in the integration of total solutions for the production of newspapers, encompassing all functions of the newspapers, from the reporter to film production and Web publication. The company has established a solid reputation based on the high level of quality that characterizes its services and on an extensive portfolio of prestigious clients.
